Mosaic SCMC is open to music students age 7-19. Students must be able to read music and have at least two years of experience on their instrument. We welcome the following orchestral instruments: strings, woodwinds, brass, and piano.

MENTOR PROGRAM
Mentorship is a cornerstone of MCM’s chamber music program and fuels our culture of growth and community. High school students mentor younger ensembles, providing leadership experience, and an opportunity to deepen their musical understanding by guiding rehearsals and articulating ideas. Younger students are inspired by older students, learning from their example, they develop ensemble skills and gain musical insight. Mentor programs such as Mosaic also look great on college applications as mentors gain confidence, compassion and strong interpersonal skills. Fostering a meaningful relationship between younger and older students builds a culture of service to each other and strengthens our music community.
